So, I chose purple for the door. I painted a piece of cardboard orange and put it where the door would be. I really wanted to love it, but it just didn't work. I am happy with the purple door. See the little doorknob? Cute, right? Also, I glued the bay window onto the house. Missed a step when I first did it and had to take it apart and redo it!! Yikes!!
Hello!! The top pic shows all of the popsicle sticks I've saved for years and years. Maybe you call them Ice cream sticks? Haha, my family eats a lot of those treats!! The next pic shows my work space and the scroll saw that I use to cut the round ends from the sticks. Then I must sand the rough edges and then paint them. Then I must sand the paint off just a little so they look old and worn. The next picture shows the miter saw that my husband gave me for Christmas. It is very small - for cutting angles. The bottom picture shows the completed kitchen floor. I love it. I originally wanted a wood stained floor, but the sticks didn't look so great with stain on them. I think this painted floor is better. :)

Merry Christmas!!! I bought the little tree for kid at Goodwill and added lights and ornaments. The little skeleton was kindly donated by my dear neighbor. Too late in the year to find skeletons in the stores. He is wearing comfy slippers and relaxing in his rocking chair while reading How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Beside him are some tasty donuts, a piece of yummy cake and cinnamon tea.
This is the little bedroom, but now painted black. I made a bedspread and pillows with fabric that looks like dragon scales. The side curtains are with sequined fabric. You can see that I finished the trunk. And do you like the little bear skin rug? I can't wait to see kid's reaction Christmas morning. :)

Hi, a new post! As you can see, I have put up some walls and have painted the inside walls yellow. I love yellow. I think it goes with all colors beautifully. Now I must decide on a color for my front door. The bottom picture shows orange and purple. Both colors aren't quite as dark as they look. Bad lighting!! Anyway, what do you think? I love orange and pink together, but the purple looks really good too.
