Hi friends! Finally finished with the bottom cabinets! Took so long, right? I couldn't figure out how to do the faucet. Saw a tutorial where someone used jewelry spacers for the handles. Remember my popsicle stick floors? I saved the ends that I cut off and used them as handles on the drawers. Also used two small pieces of popsicle stick ends and a toothpick for the oven door handle.
Two years ago, I painted my kitchen cabinets black and got white counter tops. I wanted to do the same here. I also wanted the drawer handles and knobs on doors to be as much the same as possible.
When I painted my kitchen I really wanted a Farm House sink, but couldn't get one. Yay, now I have one!! Only it's in a miniature house! The black thing on the counter - over the oven - is the induction cook top!
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you liked what you saw!
Next will be the upper cabinets!

Hello friends! As you can see, my kitchen cabinets are coming along nicely. The doors and drawers aren't glued together yet and the cabinets haven't been painted. I am working on the sink now, trying to get it to look real. These two cabinets will be glued together to form an "L" shape to fit into a corner and the sink will fit under the window. I bought little cabinets a while ago, but it really bothered me that the sink wasn't under the window!! :D The cabinet on the left will hold the stove. Remember the link I gave you for the little sofa that I made? I used the same person's tutorial for the cabinets. She is awesome. I couldn't use her pattern exactly tho because I need a corner cabinet.

Ok, last post for today. When I returned home from vacation, these little Harley Davidson motorcycles were standing in front of my tiny house and my child's house. I had seen them in a catalogue that my husband had and thought they were so cute. My husband surprised me for my Birthday (July 14th). The red one is mine. Aren't they so adorable? Thank you for visiting!!

When I went on vacation, I visited my good friend, Robin. Earlier I posted some tiny things that she had sent me. We were visiting and she brought out the box filled with these lovely things. I actually felt kind of sad to take them, because I know how much she loves these tiny things, but at the same time, I so appreciated her love and generosity. Most of them are very old and some need to be restored. I will be very gentle and respectful.
My second little crocheted blanket. It looks like a little square now, but on a tiny bed I hope it looks like a real bed cover. :D The edges aren't perfect. I didn't have a pattern to follow. It's ok though, because I really like the color and that the yarn is fuzzy. :D

Hmm, don't know why the first two pictures are sideways. Sorry about that! So...some of you know that I've been trying to crochet small clothing for my future dolls, but have been having some difficulty. These are the first two things that I've completed. A little dress and matching hat. The top picture, of course, is before any decoration. Sooooo difficult. I made a little coat, but it looks so bad that I don't want to share it with you. :(  I don't know if my future doll will be able to wear this dress as it doesn't open in the back. The pattern doesn't allow for an opening. I think it will look cute in her tiny closet though. :) Now I must get back to decorating my little house so that I will have more to show you. Thanks for visiting!! <3

This is my little fireplace. I bought it at Hobby Lobby. I put off painting it because I couldn't decide on a color. Haha, I have difficulty making creative decisions. I tried to make the base resemble marble. I painted the tiles by hand so they're not so perfect, haha. I am tempted to repaint them because in this picture they don't actually look like tiles. I am a bit of a perfectionist. :D Overall, I am very happy with the way it looks. Hope you like it, too.
Hello friends!! I told a few of you about the little blanket I was making. Well, this is it. Can you tell it has a zigzag pattern? It's kind of stiff. I think I pull the thread too tight. I tried soaking it in fabric softener, but it is still stiff. If I make another one, I will try very hard not to pull too tightly. Thanks for visiting. :D

Hello friends!! I have finished the sofa and ottoman. I also built a window seat. I measured the window seat perfectly, but then it was too tight and wouldn't fit. I kept sanding the ends with sandpaper until it fit like it is supposed to. :) The room is coming together. I can't wait to make pictures for the walls. You see the table at the end of the sofa (and next to the chair)? I made it using an empty thread spool and the lid from a sour cream container. I haven't decided which fabric I will cover it with. Not sure how the room will look when it is complete because am not sure how the furniture will be arranged. Please excuse the wrinkled rug. I will try to be tidier in my next pictures. Thanks for visiting!! <3

Hello!! What do you think? This is my first piece of furniture. I just love it! The fabric is from JoAnn Fabrics. Haha, borrowed the lamp and goodies from my child's house. I am so grateful to the wonderful woman who did the blog to show me how to build this chair. She is so super talented and so kind that she would share her knowledge with others. I can't wait to build the sofa and ottoman to match the chair. Also, can't wait to build other things!! The woman whose blog I got the directions from is:

You should check her out. So many things to build from her instructions. <3

Hi!! Do you like my little flower boxes? Built the boxes, then went to Dollar Tree and bought moss and flowers. The house is looking more real day by day. Hope you've enjoyed your visit. :)

Yay, stairs are in!! I was going to put rails on the stairs, but it was difficult putting in the stairs and I didn't want to struggle with railings too. Put I did build rails for the openings of the stairs. Wouldn't want the little residents to fall. :) The house kit didn't come with these rails. I built them from strips of wood and bought a package of those little peg things to use at the tops of the posts. I think the stairs and rails really make the house look complete. Working on flower boxes for outside of 4 of the windows. Just so you know, it means so much to me that you are visiting my little house. Love and hugs to all you you. <3

Hmm, posted these pics the other day, but for some reason, they didn't stay. Maybe I didn't hit the publish button? Haha!! So, the shutters and porch railings are completed. Now I must finish the porch floors, flower boxes and must do something for the bottom base of the house. Thank you for visiting!!

Hello!! Roof is finally done and now trim work is done also. Next I must do railings for porch and also shutters for windows. Still trying to decide what colors I want for shutters. :)

Is awesome having the roof up and now shingled. Stained the shingles today, but think they need another coat of stain. Thanks for visiting. :)

This is the bathroom and upstairs hallway. There will be stairs. :) The bathroom still needs things like trim and curtains and accessories. Do you like the bathroom floor? I used contact paper. :D

Sugarpie's room is all put together and ready for furniture.

These are the painted walls for the attic bedroom of little Sugarpie. I did farm animals because this is a farm house. The little dog with the bird on its back is like our little dog. The little green bird is in honor of our sweet little Cutie who died March 1st. She was 11 years old and used to love to climb onto the dog's back. Thank you for visiting.

Hi again!! My little purchased fireplace for the Living Room. Will paint it, but not sure about the color yet. In my little kitchen you can see the cabinets, refrigerator, table set, and little hutch from my friend Robin. She has given me permission to paint it, but haven't decided on a color yet. I will decide after I've painted the kitchen cabinets. All is very bland now, but hopefully will look better with rugs and curtains and pictures to make it all look more like a little home. :) Hope you're having a lovely day.
