Hello again!! This is my little kitchen so far. Yesterday, I made the little valance for the window. I crocheted the rug during the winter. Watched quite a few tutorials until I figured it out. The wire rack, bread, tray, toaster, paper towels, plant, clock, kitchen towel and kitty are all from my friend Robin. Thanks for visiting!!
Hello, dear friends! It has been way too long since my last post. So, these are my completed cabinets and the backsplash. These are the tiles that I used. I have shown you the template I made to attach the tiles to. It would have been too difficult to try to glue them to the wall individually. I so wanted a bright green backsplash, but couldn't find green tiles. I am very happy with the way it turned out tho. Very bright and cheerful, in my opinion. :D I didn't use tile grout. I used Wood Filler instead. A very handy item, if you're building a little house. The tiles will never be wet, so buying expensive tile grout didn't make sense to me. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting!!

Hi friends! Finally finished with the bottom cabinets! Took so long, right? I couldn't figure out how to do the faucet. Saw a tutorial where someone used jewelry spacers for the handles. Remember my popsicle stick floors? I saved the ends that I cut off and used them as handles on the drawers. Also used two small pieces of popsicle stick ends and a toothpick for the oven door handle.
Two years ago, I painted my kitchen cabinets black and got white counter tops. I wanted to do the same here. I also wanted the drawer handles and knobs on doors to be as much the same as possible.
When I painted my kitchen I really wanted a Farm House sink, but couldn't get one. Yay, now I have one!! Only it's in a miniature house! The black thing on the counter - over the oven - is the induction cook top!
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you liked what you saw!
Next will be the upper cabinets!

Hello friends! As you can see, my kitchen cabinets are coming along nicely. The doors and drawers aren't glued together yet and the cabinets haven't been painted. I am working on the sink now, trying to get it to look real. These two cabinets will be glued together to form an "L" shape to fit into a corner and the sink will fit under the window. I bought little cabinets a while ago, but it really bothered me that the sink wasn't under the window!! :D The cabinet on the left will hold the stove. Remember the link I gave you for the little sofa that I made? I used the same person's tutorial for the cabinets. She is awesome. I couldn't use her pattern exactly tho because I need a corner cabinet.

Ok, last post for today. When I returned home from vacation, these little Harley Davidson motorcycles were standing in front of my tiny house and my child's house. I had seen them in a catalogue that my husband had and thought they were so cute. My husband surprised me for my Birthday (July 14th). The red one is mine. Aren't they so adorable? Thank you for visiting!!
When I went on vacation, I visited my good friend, Robin. Earlier I posted some tiny things that she had sent me. We were visiting and she brought out the box filled with these lovely things. I actually felt kind of sad to take them, because I know how much she loves these tiny things, but at the same time, I so appreciated her love and generosity. Most of them are very old and some need to be restored. I will be very gentle and respectful.
